Dream Closet

I am going to take a tour of my upstairs in pictures so I thought I would start of with my latest project. I redid my spare bedroom. I turned it into my closet... And left a bed in there for overnight guests. These pics were some of my inspiration. Of course it never turns out looking quite as good as the pics (esp. on my budget;) $$) but I am fairly pleased with how it turned out!:)
This picture was my favorite and main look I was trying to go for!

This pic is my very favorite designer Annie Brahler of Euro Trash(www.euro-trash.us) closet. Also, another main inspiration.

...and this is the before pic.
So, it didn't always look quite this bad... This was in the midst of painting and I realized I forgot my before pic! Ha

...and here are the after pics... I just used some left over grey paint I had used on the playroom downstairs(just from Menards, can't quite remember the color's name!) and painted the wood work white (color: Menard's sweetened white)

This is my early Christmas present to myself... My adorable 1950's Eloise doll! She is one of my very favorite storybook characters. Also, her room in the books was another one of my inspirations (who doesn't love pink and pink!;) anyways, I do say i "rawther" LOVE her!

I created this look by taking doors off and drawers out of an old wardrobe. And the two 6 foot tall bookcases from Walmart and added tension rods. Purses are stored up top the shelves.

  1. I think you did a great job. The fun thing about decorating is that it is always fun to change it up a bit!
